It's a lie.
They wait until you've unloaded your entire cart onto the belt to inform you that you have to go to Customer Service to have them price match your items. Lame.
So you go over to the CS desk and unload your items. The first clerk starts scanning. When she asks the manager for approval for the discount, the manager will go on and on about how it has to be name brand, and because the item don't have a name brand listed in the sale ad, it's useless.
Lesson learned!
I love Walmart. I guess because Walmart is King, Target has to pretend it is just as good and trick you into thinking they're going to price match as well.
Shame, shame Target.
